Description
This magnificent and highly decorated lacquered black oriental cabinet is hand painted with Japanese landscapes, and depicts a samurai and two ladies in a domestic scene. This two door cabinet also has two lower fully removable drawers. All original brass pulls, solid wood construction, with gorgeous deep lacquered finish. Hand painted using the raised Chinoiserie style of painting. Rich gold tones, hints of silver and wonderful details go into creating this unique item. Minor damage in the form of small chips removed from the finish, one larger chip on the rear right corner, and wear to the legs. Two places on top front edge were lacquer is missing which does not show in picture.
